There are times in our lives when we all need a little bit of help. Food for Love provides a home-cooked meal to a family or individual in need.

01

Why should I get involved? Why is it important?

Food For Love is a charitable organisation which provides a free home-cooked meal to people in need in the Upper Clutha region. Recipients are generally going through a challenging time, such as an illness, bereavement, injury or are elderly. All recipients are nominated by someone in the community.

02

If I donate to ‘Bayleys Plate Up for Love’, where does the money go?

All of the money raised goes directly to Food For Love to help people living in the Upper Clutha region who are going through an unexpected challenging time.

03

Who is Food for Love?

Food for Love was founded in 2016 by Rebecca (Bex) Sarginson and Louise Carnie. Their team of 170+ volunteers prepare nourishing meals and baking from within their own homes and at group cooking sessions and deliver them to Food for Love recipients.

04

Who receives the meals?

Anyone can nominate someone who is struggling and would benefit from a free home-cooked meal by filling out the online form.
